Working in the gardens

We've been working in the gardens lately. It is that time of year. Also very time consuming. This ia a snapshot of the front flower bed at our home. This is only one bed of many around the house. We tend a very large herb garden also, along with several other smaller flower beds, a vegetable garden and a small orchard.
There is alway plenty to do and my wonderful husband spends hours keeping the grounds nice and mowed and looking sharp. I have to admit tho that sometimes the weeds take over the gardens and then it's my turn to get busy.
Please take a few minutes to view our website also at www.streamviewfarms.com. We are adding items every few days. We are busy getting more items prepared for the craft section.
Have a great day and I'll be back to post again soon.

Welcome and Hello

Hello everyone. I hope you'll enjoy what we have to share here at Streamview. You'll have to take a look at our newest undertaking, launching our own website. I have to say that we are so excited to start this new adventure. We've been collecting items from the surrounding area for sometime now and hope to reach out there to all areas of the United States to show everyone what exciting items can be created and purchased from our area here in Western Pennsylvania.

I'll be trying to post weekly to this site, so be sure to check back and read up on what is new and exciting here at Streamview in our own Hideaway of Nature.

I do want to share with you the two creatures that occupy a lot of our time here.

Simon Coco is our chocolate point siamese. He loves to be outside and wonder the woods surrounding our home. He is a premium bug catcher, but does bring home small field mice to me on occasion.

Lady Kolby is a kind and gentle seal point siamese but an avid and dangerous hunter. She was rescued from living in the streets of a nearby town. Her outdoor instincts greatly outweigh Simon's. She brings home chipmunks, field mice, small bunnies and an occasional bird. She is quick!

Richard and I will be posting events as they happen here at Streamview along with many of the craft items available soon on our website. We'll also be posting some ideas that I have named "Oh the Possibilities!"

Please stop back and see us soon!
